  • And don’t forget to subscribe!

  • Oh yes, and that too.

  • Thanks for your kind words on my site.

Is that your real picture for your avatar? I like to think I’m talking to the face I am looking at. As for me, I am not really a hamster running on a wheel, but I certainly feel like I am.

I really didn’t intend to dig deep into the question on Worship Cafe — it just turns out to be an issue I am truly thinking about. I have started to spread out a little more widely on my internet sites like Xanga and MySpace, and while I meet a lot of neat people like you and the others at Worship Cafe, I also come into contact with a lot that is negative, and I wonder if its worth it, or if its all a waste of time. My sole motivation for starting a Xanga site was to keep an eye on the sites my teenage daughters set up. Then my site kind of took on a life of its own, and here I am. I actually have been wondering if my “moderation” on the net is a little immoderate. (Is that a word?)

Thanks again — you’re a thoughtful young man. I’d love to hear the details of your background some day.

  • RYC:  Fine.  You can think I’m crazy all you want.  But seriously, don’t put words in my mouth.  “Are you an antichrist?”  Certainly not.  I never claimed to be Jesus, and I never will.  My site is to help people see what’s coming.  Trust me, there are plenty of visible signs that it’s coming.  And if you haven’t read everything that I’ve posted yet, you might not be calling me crazy.  Even if you did and still thought so, that’s not my problem.  I’m just trying to put it all out there.  And if someone can prove me wrong, then fine.  If someone can further prove me right, then fine.  I don’t put out fantastical ideas because I like to get a reaction.  I do it because some people need to know these things, so that they know what’s going on and why.

I find it very interesting, your argument about symbols.  I know my symbols, but I’ll give you the benefit of the doubt.  It’s not just the symbols they use, it’s who is involved in it as well.  A Freemason designed the streets of Washington D.C., as well as the Washington monument.  The symbols might indeed mean nothing, under certain circumstances, but there are far too many coincidences.  Try reading my previous posts before condemning me entirely.  Oh, and Satanists and “witches” do use the “Star of David” for their practices.  It’s not actually David’s star, it’s the star of Baal, and used for hexes and such, according to the account of a former Satanist turned Christian.  Never in the Bible did it say King David had a star.

“I could tell you our president is an alien from a small planet orbiting Proxima Centauri, but that doesn’t mean he is.”  Sure, you could say that.  But what I’m saying has been backed up by other sources, and not just other “crazy” people like me.  Our president is a member of the Skull and Bones society.  That should be of great concern to you, if you know anything about secret societies.  If you have any specific questions, I’d be glad to give a response to them.  However, if you’re just going to call me crazy, and insinuate that I’m one of the antichrists and an anarchist, I suggest you reread the part of the Bible that says, “Come, let us reason together.”  I’ll try my best to be reasonable with you, but that’s a two way street my friend.  Well, God bless!

  • Hah, conspiracy theories. I used to hang out with these bad-ass crazy anarchists who were full of ‘em.

Then they all got jobs and stopped caring.

I’m sure there’s a lesson in there, somewhere.

  • Hey buddy, where you been lately?

  • Doesn’t sound like fun. I am a bit overwhelmed myself right now with school, this O Chem stuff is for the birds . I look forward to when this semester is over with because this is the last O Chem class I’ll ever have to take. Oh, and I look forward to seeing your expert skills on the xanga site, whenever you get the chance.

  • haha, no, honestly man, i dont get it… unless you’re thinking i’ll be a naughty boy, because i’m halfway across the world from her…

    :notouchy:

  • how tangible can it possibly be if its based soley on a couple’s intimacy? it’s real to nobody else but them, and thats as it should be… a man’s salvation is between him and God, nobody else should be able to understand unless they too have a similar intimacy…

furthermore, you mention the bible has a “traditional” marriage in mind… with the wedding and signing a legal document, bladi bladi blah… but all examples of marriage ive found (there are many) involve no more than the physical act of having sex, followed by the lifetime commitment… divorce, being the act of having sex, then only a temporary commitment, or lack thereof…

read through samuel… david and solomon had quite few wives, but they werent actually called “wives” until they had sex… i believe the passage says “david took abigail as his wife” at the timed he schtooked abby, following the death of her other husband…

marriage is to wedding, as salvation is to baptism… agree or disagree?

  • apparently so… then again, you’ve read my theories on mariage several times, have you not? ive blogged them many times before

actually, i had a feeling you semi-agreed, as we both share a dislike for culturalism… maybe some lyrics from a west side story song will say the rest…

  • So we should also allow the government to lead us according to one religion? We should let one religious book dictate everybody? I thought Christianity was something the individual should choose, not something the government should impose.

And as far as marriage goes… I’m actually surprised you disagree. I would think people who wish to be governed by God/their faith would accept a more personal sense of marriage. I think what bothers you is the inclusion of gay marriage in my post… if I had approached this from a Christian standpoint, a heterosexual standpoint, it would be different. However, if we want to hold onto the government controlled marriage because we would be “defiled” by gay marriage, then haven’t we already subtracted something significant from our love for another person? I mean c’mon… it doesn’t bother you a little bit that some rich, powerful people up in Washington are pretending to have your personal best interests at heart when it comes to love? They don’t care. They’re just holding onto tradition because changing stuff is too much trouble. It’s all about a formality for them… and don’t you want more than a formality? Well, then you can’t be selfish about it. If a law applies to you, it applies to everyone. Your religion has nothing to do with that.

It’s interesting to me that you pulled so much about divorce and gay marriage from my post. That wasn’t my point at all. My point was that we’ve become so “Christian”, so tradiational, so intent on protecting what’s comfortable to us, that we’ve forgotten that our relationships are worth nothing if they are based on other people, other factors. I know you’re a Christian and that your beliefs are very important to you, but the whole world doesn’t work that way. You can’t be so sensitive to the world’s decisions that you allow it to dictate your personal life.

  • just a reminder you have the topic tomorrow! don’t forget! if it fits your schedule, could you do it in the late afternoon/evening? I just put a topic up this evening, and I wanted to keep it up for 24 hours.

  • I think we just are that way because we have been close friends for three years now. Every summer we get together, have our fling, then talk casually throughout the year. sometimes we go months without talking. he comes back, we have a fling, we part ways and do it all over again. Yes, we do love each other. We even have respect for each other. but it is never something that would end in a real relationship or marriage. We’re completely okay with that, too.

  • :notlistening:

    ryc: ha, well……….

I don’t know about “interesting”.  That story was partially true, well, less than half………..okay the part about the plane was true.  There is other slilghtly *freaky* shit that went on,  but it is much more fun to add spurious details.  Hence, the dedication to Dan Brown.

  • I can just see the teasers: Kid’s online journal tells all. Nobody would be able to pass that up.
