Announcements, announcements, announcements…
[...what a horrible way to die! What a horrible way to die! What a horrible way to start the day, what a horrible way to die!]
My dear Lappy is in desperate need of repair. There’s been a long-standing issue with the wiring in the power cable, and the problem has simply gone too far. No longer can the miracle worker (duct tape) maintain the connection between my laptop’s battery and its ever-springing life force, the great wall outlet.
Thusly, my computer is destined to make the great voyage in the cardboard box that Hewlett Packard sent me back to where it came from, to find healing and restoration. In this journey, there are many perils, but soon enough Lappy will return home with newness of battery life.
Basically, I was just gonna let everybody know that I’m sending my computer in for repairs, and might be in Africa when it comes back…so you may very well not hear from in until the end of the month. I’ll try to post as soon as possible after I get back, assuming I don’t die of rabies from trying to catch monkies between now and then. If that happens, check in with one of my sisters (WhiteChica3, WhiteChica2, or CaraghEalgaRegan) or something.
Fare thee well!
P.S. I’m told there’s a slight chance of internet access at some point while we’re in Africa, so perhaps I’ll try to do a post from there. We’ll see.

RYC:
no no, I like it. It’s true in my life now. Though the reason for the suffering there might not be the same as now, I am fully confident that “el mismo [me] perfeccionara, afirmara, y establecera.” So thanks for the encouragement.
One- That was a beautiful picture, Caleb. I liked it very much. Thanks for sharing.
Two- Poor Lappy.
Three- Did you ever see that I wished you a happy birthday on my Xanga? Cuz I did.
Four- Have fun in Africa.
Please don’t die of rabies. You’d be missed too much.
that sucks…. what an awful time for your “lappy” to die!
Thats to bad (your computer battery giving out on you). Make sure you take plenty of pictures in Africa and be sure to share them with us all when you get back. I’ll be praying for you and miss your conversations.
When are you leaving for Africa, Caleb?
Sorry about your lappy.
. . . I take it you attend Young Life???
I’m sorry about Lappy. I wish it well on it’s exciting voyage. . . and you on yours. I’ll pray for you; take lots of pictures, and don’t catch monkeys. They are extremely loud & annoying; they threw stuff at me in Malawi.

Africa? Wow talk about a whole different world.
RYC: I think you hit a very good point. I really want to see how bonded the siblings are to one another. I wish there was a loving relative who could take all 3, but so far, no luck.
Have a great trip. I hope you can fill us in with how it goes!
RYC on WorshipCafe: My crazy version… Haha, that made me laugh very sincerely!

Cool! I haven’t been to Africa in years, and then it was like Morocco and Egypt, not the interior. Please take pictures
Watch out for those infested monkeys!
what a horrible way to die, what a horrible way to die, what a horrible way to die.. announcements, announcements, annouuuuncements
haha, sorry about the css thing… i dont get it, how would it affect you?
haha
so ru excited about thursday? and of course, the rest of the ten days?
that was the first time i’ve been on im in a year.
i’ll get on again, give me a second.
Hey, I just realized the problem with your weblog design – you’re using PNGs! I thought the white background was a weird design gimmick or something before.
I’m running IE6 (as do many other people) and PNG transparency isn’t supported in it. Do you require partial transparency? If not, you should switch to gif.
IE6 is still a commonly used browser, however, so you should figure some way to deal with the problem. XP
sure thing, i’d be glad to help
email me more info: am(at)mariani.cc
the “(at)” of course being “@”… i’m trying to avoid spambots..
Really? What is it? The only thing I can think of is a script that made all of a certain colour disappear, but that would just reproduce a transparent gif, wouldn’t it?
Thank-you for the help and i appreciate it but if you don’t mind i still have like one or two more questions…if I wanted to get my site back to usual like with my background, music and all that great stuff what do i have to do?.. because I really don’t want the theme thing I just want my stuff back if that makes sence..and if there isn’t a way could i just make a whole new xanga page and i could put my background on my look and feel and the theme wouldn’t be there? Please just commment me back on my page
